Johnny "Chords" Chapman Songwriter and music producer. Johnny has been crafting and performing music for over 20 years and is co-owner and head engineer of Rook House Recording. Chord's debut solo album "Love Sick" is in the final stages of completion and will be available soon! "Love Sick" is a vast landscape of music that has tones of pop, dance, industrial and singer songwriter driven stories mixed with dark emotional melody. The highly anticipated album will surely strike an emotional response from it listeners and keep you coming back for more. The first release from "Love Sick", "Candy Coated" shows the compelling new direction of the project. Listeners have already quoted: "Try to listen to this song and not dancing". Keep those dancing shoes on for the second release from "Love Sick", "Control" has officially hit the dance floor. You can check out the lyric video here! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chords is also the drummer for the Cincinnati based hard rock band Crooked Rook. The band released a monster E.P. in 2018 called Palimpsest. Crooked Rook has been tearing up the stages for many years and has performed with countless National acts including Anthrax, Soulfly, Nonpoint, Trapt and many more. Over the last four years Chords has been Producing, Recording and has performed with, Sundae Drives & See You In The Funnies. Both of which are great examples of the amazing diversity in the local music scene from Cincinnati. Rogues Cross is yet another great example of the always evolving musical endeavors of Chords. The band has been performing and crafting acoustic, folk driven music together for over 14 years. Johnny is possibly best known for his role fronting the band Another Tragedy. The band was a four piece modern prog/rock group based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The band was formed in the early 2000's alongside members Caleb Campbell, Matt Menard and Lee Dixon. This band was a true powerhouse of musicians. They were discovered by the British label Zebra 3 Records which distributed their debut album "The Beauty of Suffering". The album was welcomed by many of today's top music magazines including Kerrang, Metal Hammer & Prog Rock Magazine naming the album "a 2010 must look out for". After a line up change in 2011 Eric Chapman and Brad Bellamy moved into the guitar an bass rolls of the band. They went on to release a second album "Lost Among Dreams".
